Pool Membership
A pool membership allows you voting rights to the pool; affords you the ability to use the pool for parties when approved; allows you to bring guests( within rules); come to the pool daily when open; and asks that you help maintain the pool that you are now a member of! Becoming a member of this pool is like joining a community. A group of people dedicated to fun summers and quality family time together.
The Poplar Springs Swim & Racquet Club located in Meridian, MS, is privately owned and managed by its 80 stockholders. All members share in the daily upkeep and improvements of the facilities. In order to purchase a yearly swimming dues package you must first become a member of the pool. This ensures that everyone swimming in the pool has a stake in making it the best community pool possible.
Our association has been in existence since 1984 and the facilities continue to bring year round enjoyment to many families. We have an Olympic size pool with a wading area for small children and a diving area with two diving boards for those who enjoy a challenge. Plenty of tables and sunbathing lounge chairs are provided or you can bring your own each day. Men's and women's showers and bathroom facilities are also available. Perhaps the most utilized feature is our pavilion area where families barbecue and host parties for the kids.
