Are you passionate about keeping our facilities in top condition? Join us in maintaining the beauty and cleanliness of our tennis courts and pool area!

We invite all members to take part in a community clean-up initiative to ensure that our spaces remain inviting and enjoyable for everyone. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the club, meet fellow members, and enjoy a sense of accomplishment.

Here’s how you can get involved:

  1. Volunteer Sign-Up: Sign up for one of our scheduled clean-up days. Bring your family and friends and make it a fun community event!

  2. Provide Supplies: Often we don’t have the time to volunteer to help, so we’ve created a WalMart Wishlist as well as a donations page so you can fund the efforts if you can’t attend personally

Courts Update

to Jan 3

Courts Update

Here is a little golden hour at the courts this afternoon. Significant renovations have taken place at the courts this week. A commercial-sized pressure washer was generously loaned to us, and its effectiveness has been remarkable. Interestingly, the courts' original bright green color has been revealed. Following the pressure washing, we initiated the process of filling cracks. Additionally, the washing process highlighted some drainage issues, prompting us to dig trenches. It is impressive to witness the accomplishments of a motivated group of individuals. We’re a few steps closer to our pickleball courts!

If you so kindly wanted to help fund this endeavor, please check out our gofundme linked below. Otherwise we’re looking for a few supplies like landscaping rocks, cinder blocks or bricks to build a retaining wall .

House Rules and ByLaws

House Rules and ByLaws

At Poplar Springs Swim & Racquet Club, the safety and enjoyment of all our members is our top priority. That's why we have a comprehensive set of pool rules and bylaws that every member is expected to follow.

These rules cover important aspects like pool hours, appropriate attire, guest policies, and prohibited activities. They are in place to ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for everyone who uses our facilities.

As a member, it is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with and abide by these rules. This helps us maintain a well-regulated environment where all members can swim, relax, and socialize without incident.

Because we don’t have a team of staff or lifeguards to make sure everyone follows rules we rely on our members to set a good example and hold each other accountable.

By working together to follow the pool rules and bylaws, we can keep Poplar Springs a premier destination for aquatic recreation and community. Thank you for doing your part to uphold the safety and integrity of our club.

Restoration of the Courts
Oct

to Mar 12

Restoration of the Courts

Restoration of the Tennis Courts has officially begun. A small but mighty group of dedicated local families has generously volunteered their time and energy to transforming the dilapidated tennis courts into a vibrant recreation area, including pickleball courts. They would greatly appreciate any donations of time, funds, or equipment from community members who are eager to help restore this treasured community space to its former glory. Specifically, they need access to pressure washers and individuals who possess handy skills to assist in cleaning out and repairing the cracks throughout the court. Additionally, they will need to purchase court cover and paint, and they would be thrilled to receive contributions of products, as well as monetary donations, to support this important project! We have put together a WalMart Wish list as well as a donation page for those members who wish to contribute!
